This $26 million project consisted of the re-use of approximately 570,000 s.f. of industrial warehouse space. The site contained two, three-story buildings that were connected by four bridges. One of the buildings was renovated for warehouse use on the first floor and transportation-related offices on the second and third floors. Renovations included complete resurfacing of the building façade and the restoration of its cornices and parapet walls. Previously blocked-up windows were re-opened and other existing windows were replaced plus architectural details were added. The existing elevators were replaced with hydraulic elevators and the stairs were replaced to comply with building codes. The second building was demolished and replaced with a modern, single-level warehouse, distribution and truck-loading facility. This new structure was built off of the first building. Additional features included rooftop parking and extensive site work.
