Renovations to the Boston offices of this nation-wide accounting and consulting firm covered the entire 9th floor of 150 Federal Street. The scope entailed the complete demolition and rebuild of the floor, encompassing 18,600 s.f. Offices, conference rooms, a reception area and a new elevator lobby were constructed. The reception area boasts stone flooring in a circular pattern, accented by a circular soffit overhead. Vinyl wall covering was installed in all the offices and in the majority of open plan workspace. Fabric wall covering was used in the reception and conference areas. Acoustical wall paneling was installed in both conference rooms and walls were constructed of glass panels. Long lead items such as aluminum frames and custom cherry doors made accomplishing the tight 9-week schedule challenging, but Lee Kennedy Co. delivered the completed project on-time and on budget.
