Lee Kennedy Co. was selected to provide construction services for this investment banking services firm in downtown Boston. The project, located on one floor, included 20,000 square feet of space built entirely on raised access flooring because of the intense tel/data requirements. Additionally, the space included a trading room, a data center with emergency back up power systems and a preaction fire protection system, a kitchen/lounge area and employee locker rooms with showers. High-end finishes were installed throughout. Construction occurred within an occupied building with tenants above and below. Lee Kennedy Co. coordinated with other tenants and the landlord to accommodate their schedules to plan associated plumbing, electrical and structural support work.
