This build-out of corporate office space from an existing shell consisted of 135,000 s.f. on floors 1 and 2. Construction included 2 new stairs and 5 lounges with kitchen utilities. The majority of space involved offices and conference rooms including a 7,000 s.f. computer room to support both the Lafayette Corporate Center space and existing offices at 500 Boylston Street. In addition, construction included new rooftop generators and chillers and all new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.

Mass Financial Services selected Lee Kennedy Co. to assist with its office space reconfiguration and upgrade. Each floor of the 500 Boylston Street location occupies 22,000 s.f. and is a mix of open space and specialized work areas. Seventeen floors were completed in total.
