This two-story combination retail and corporate facility will serve as a prototype for future CompUSA stores. Lee Kennedy served as general contractor for the build-out from the existing shell. Work included new structural components, two escalators, two elevators, and original electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. The store layout consists of a retail area, computer training rooms, and corporate sales offices. Finish work consisted of unique characteristics such as independently-hanging ceiling sections. Exposed equipment between these sections was painted. Other aspects which give the retail area a space-aged effect are the use of over 30 colors and the floating halos above sales and help desks, check-out counters, and other sections.

Lee Kennedy Co. also served as Construction Manager for a $1.5 million build-out of CompUSA's retail store in the Carousel Center mall in Syracuse, New York.
