In the words of Thomas Alva Edison, "Good fortune is
what happens when opportunity meets with planning."
The Kennett School District understands these words to be true as they used Lee Kennedy Co.'s. preconstruction services for the construction of a new high school and renovation to the existing middle school in North Conway, NH.
As part of preconstruction services for both projects, Lee Kennedy Co. confirmed the educational specifications and the programming as well as recommended the necessary consultants. LKCo tracked the school district's overall project inclusive of soft costs and budget and provided cost and schedule control. Lee Kennedy Co. instilled the school district with the confidence that every scenario had been explored and that the best-laid plan was in place for the project.
Pleased with the results, it is no surprise that the school district also awarded Lee Kennedy Co. with the construction management and general contractor's position for the new $28.8 million high school designed by Banwell Architects. The new high school will be 215,050 s.f. and boast modern facilities to propel the next graduating class to be the stewards of the future.
