Recently, representatives of LKCo traveled to the Associated General Contractors of America National Convention in San Antonio, TX to both interview for and subsequently receive an award in the 2007 AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards competition. This award recognizes companies that have developed and implemented excellent safety and loss prevention programs through management commitment and employee involvement. LKCo was the only contractor from Massachusetts to be named a finalist. Mike Boyle, Vice President of Safety, stated “this is truly a great honor for both our firm and for me, personally. Our mantra at Lee Kennedy Co. is simply ‘Safety is the right thing to do!’ This award is a testament to the hard work we all put forth in an effort to provide a safe work environment for all on site. Safe working conditions are good for our industry, good for business and great for the workforce! Safety affects the morale and the overall success of each project.”
