Kennett High School

Lee Kennedy Co. was hired as the construction manager and general contractor for the new 215,050 sf Kennett High School. The school houses a 500-seat auditorium, 2,000 sf performance room, a band room, TV studio, graphics and multimedia lab, gymnasium, library, classrooms, administrative areas, new sports fields and science and computer labs. The school also includes a career/vocational center with an auto shop, culinary arts facilities, machine shop, and drafting classroom. As part of its preconstruction services, the team confirmed the educational specification and programming, recommended the necessary consultants and helped the owner review consultants requisitions and invoices. Lee Kennedy Co.’s team provided schedule control and tracked the school district's project soft costs and budget throughout the course of work.
