Boston College High School – New Building Addition

Lee Kennedy Co. was selected to provide preconstruction services as well as act as the general contractor for B.C. High's largest construction project in the school's 140-year history. The 63,000 sf addition has become a hub for campus life, connects three existing buildings, and includes a 5,000 sf student commons atrium, 650-seat cafeteria, a guidance center, bookstore and a campus ministry center. Furthermore, the addition houses four state-of-the-art science labs; 18 additional classrooms; three computer labs; new administrative offices and an admissions suite. A second phase included major mechanical and cosmetic upgrades to several existing buildings, major renovations in the partially occupied McElroy building, as well as subsequent site work.
