St. Luke’s Hospital Parking Garage
Taber Street, New Bedford, MA
Lee Kennedy Co. constructed this three-story, 31,000 sf parking garage for St. Luke’s Hospital, the New Bedford site of Southcoast Hospitals Group in Massachusetts. The 341-space garage is located on the hospital campus and abuts both a residential neighborhood and a separate, independent nursing home. Lee Kennedy Co. provided extensive preconstruction services to help St. Luke’s Hospital get the project off the ground and coordinated a logistics plan to minimize impact on the surrounding area. While the garage is intended primarily for hospital employees it will be open for use by the public and resolves the neighborhoods need for additional parking.
