Arlington Street Church
Boston, MA

This Boston landmark constructed in 1861 received a historic restoration to its 9,700 sf interior.  Architectural details that had been hidden behind decades of peeling paint and residue have been cleaned and restored, pews have been repaired, reupholstered, and retrofitted to accommodate people with disabilities, a new lighting system was installed and extensive restoration to existing millwork and flooring was completed.  Windows, chandeliers, and other light fixtures were also refurbished while the space also benefitted from a bathroom renovation and a new fire detection system.  Complex scaffolding filled the entire church which made scheduling of trades and material deliveries challenging.
