Harvard University – Yacoby & Hoffman Laboratories
One Oxford Street, Cambridge, MA
Located in Harvard’s newly constructed Laboratory for Integrated Sciences and Engineering building (LISE) the fit out of the Hoffman and Yacoby Laboratories provides experimental research labs for esteemed nano-scale scientists. The Hoffman Lab consists of three experiment rooms, a prep lab and office. The Yacoby Lab, located on three floors, consists of two support rooms, a pump room, storage and vestibule. Ground floor work includes two control rooms and two laboratories while the sixth floor provides offices, experimental areas, a prep lab, main lab and associated work areas, and common spaces. All work took place in a partially occupied building and was completed simultaneous to base building work requiring extensive coordination and sensitivity to active laboratories in the building.
