Lee Kennedy Co. was awarded two projects with Cambridge Health Alliance at the organization’s Somerville Hospital campus. Over an eight-week period, the team completed various interior renovations including select demolition, revised layouts, new millwork, finishes and revised MEPs for patient rooms, restrooms, a nurse’s station, and support areas. Lee Kennedy Co. worked with Cambridge Health Alliance during preconstruction to maximize the owner’s budget, provide input on constructability in the operating space and coordinate logistics to mitigate construction impact on patients and hospital operations.
